[1.2.5]Meteor rain causes temporal rift exit disappear

I was in Temporal rift: Daikara. After the ice wyrm killed the exit did show up but then disappeared when the lava floor effect ended.
(luckily for me, I forced quit the game after I realized this.)
I was playing the newest steam version(1.2.5) with ash dlc.
