ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I've just got the shield The Black Wall on my demonologist, but whenever I block with it (whether via the block skill or demonic madness) I get an error, and block does not get applied. I fortunately have another good shield to use for now, but if this bug could be fixed, I'd appreciate it.

I've encountered this bug as well, same situation pretty much. Got the shield on my Demonologist, opening the Talents page of my character sheet results in an error as does mousing over my Block hotkey and using any ability that includes blocking results in an error as well as not applying the block buff. I'm no coder but if I had to guess what's causing the problem I'd say it's the all-resist being granted by the shield's shadow power.

I read the error and it looked like it was caused by a "block damage type" call. I think that since some shields can block more than just physical that maybe it wasn't given a damage type. I wonder if spectral shield would override this effect?

Yep, Spectral Shield stops the Lua error spam and allows for blocks again.
