1.2.4 Cannot Leave Searing Halls

Searing Halls (2) has no portal to Searing Halls (3).
It spawned the statue of Lithfengel, but I cannot continue with the game since you don't receive your Rod of Recall until killing the boss in the 3rd zone.

I've had something similar: On level 3 the blue crystal just wasn't there.
That was not a fundamental problem with my system, on the next try I did get the crystal.

I'm currently (1.2.5) stuck in Searing Halls 3, with no crystal. Is it possible for someone to fix my save?
