Anyway to fix assassin lord bug?

The assassin lord didn't spawn and I can't get out. Am I stuck with making another hero?

rod of recall? and I think there was a "creative mode" mod, that allow you to fix stuff like that.

Yeah, I did the recall. However it was a fail, so I'm assuming I won't have access to that merchant later.
