[1.2.3] Freezing freezes game

MY game freezes indefinitely whenever I am frozen by an NPC.
No errors appear in log.

Would it be an addon? or a graphics option I could disable? I hope the latter.....

I think I've seen this once or twice when I'm frozen and use some sort of attack spell. Can't remember the details. Did you use a spell (or have one on auto-cast)?

no, as i am running a solipsist. it is always when I am frozen by an NPC
