ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Rod of recall should be dropped from the boss in the void. As of version 1.20 "If the rod of recall somehow drops in an unreachable spot it gets added to the player's inventory directly"

I killed the boss in the void over space, the rod used to appear on an island somewhere in the level. It did not appear on any of the islands and I looked on every one. It also did not appear in my inventory.

archmages are bugged. tu-du-du-duuuuun. time for emergency 1.3

you can't kill the boss over space because it can only move on islands, its not like the mana wyrms that can move over space.

Check all of the islands, I've had it happen to me before, the island the boss was on when it died teleported away that same turn. Took me friggin forever to finally find it, but I found it eventually.
