Giant vault in Daikara messed up

Hello!
This might not be a bug, but I will record it as one so the people in charge can check if it is.
I was in Daikara with my thief.
Sneak mode on.
I enter the big area in front of the big house and clear it from stray giants.
I clean the small houses too.
When I press Z my man runs away to check the last non checked spots on the map when I suddenly meet a unique giant boss.
I kill him and return to the big house.
I open the door, and the house is empty!
Somehow my stealth mode made the giants in there fight eachother.
All xp down the drain.
Maybe the inside of the house should never be affected if the door is not opened?
