ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey, so first of all the issue is that whenever I get to the last floor of the dwarf starter dungeon and kill the boss, when I go to his body to auto pick up his gear, my game freezes and I have to kill it with the task manager.

I've tried reinstalling, deleting t-engine, deactivating all mods, resetting settings, reinstalling graphic drivers, changing graphic settings, and nothing has worked.

I really want to be able to play this game again.
