ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I used the Orb of Many Ways in the Reknor Farportal to go to the Far East, but the system took forever (i.e. around 10 minutes) to generate the Unremarkable Cave, so I killed the program and reloaded. Upon reloading, I seem to be in the Unremarkable Cave, but I'm stuck in a wall (i.e. I can see a 3X3 grid) and without a character. What's more, when I use my torque of psychoportation to teleport out into real space, turns pass automatically and my character get's mobbed by enemies.

Is there anything I can do to save my character?

Sorry to bump this, but can I send this file to DarkGod somehow (or anyone else) to fix it up? I'm hoping it just needs the character being moved out of Unremarkable Cave, the file for the cave being deleted, and then my character moving back into it through the farportal (i.e. regenerating the cave), but I'm not sure and I don't know how to do that myself without invalidating the file.
