Negative light radius

One of my characters has a light radius of -2 after unequipping all items. I'm not sure what caused this. He has a ring with +2 light radius, but I'm not sure how it happened.

Check your inventory for things that affect your light radius when carried. More specifically, the Miscellaneous tab. You probably picked up a Mummified Egg-sac and didn't notice.
