Can't take any items out of item vault

I did not know that alchemist gems cannot be taken out the item vault, so I put them in all 5 slots and now I can't use the item vault at all. I tried posting this on another thread 2 weeks ago, but I don't think anyone read it. Can I get any help with this? I really miss the item vault, it was so cool, and I loved it.
