ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The title says it all, can't seem to find the apprentice mage.
There's an adventuring party roaming around the place where the mage should be. Wonder if they killed him by accident?
I'm playing a paradox mage and when I turned from Point Zero I landed around the area he lives in. Would it be possible that I landed on him?

This happened to me a while ago as a Temporal Warden, maybe this bug is unique to the Chronomancer start.

I had this happen when I ran an incompatible addon. Maybe try disabling your addons and running a new character?

My only addons were/are Faster Adventurer Level up and Chronomancy. Haven't had any troubles with them before and I've recently ran quite a few characters past that point.
