ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Assuming I'm not doing something stupid, Surpentine Cloak doesn't give me the teleport ability it claims to give me.

There is no change in the 'use talents' pane when I wear it or take it off (and I have no teleport abilities without it).

(v1.1.5 mac.)

Use Talents pane? Do you mean the talents bar on bottom or the screen where you insert new talent points?
For the former it should show up, for the latter it's not.

To be sure about it working go to your inventory and click on the cloak and choose Use and see if you phase.

Just an idea I thought about, the cloak is said to be nature on wiki yet phase door is a spell. Antimagic char could wear it but not use it methinks. Most likely though the wiki has it wrong and it's arcane.

Just checked the cloak in the character vault, it's nature powered with a spell talent(odd huh). Like Faeryan already stated go into your inventory and use it. If you want the talent on the hotbar you need to drag the item onto the hotbar.

Sorry, I am an idiot. 'Tis under the use menu. I expected it to be like Dig, Command staff and so on.
