Zigur Wizards

I don't know if this is actually a bug or not, since this is my first time tackling Nightmare, but one of my Adventurers and I think a subsequent Necromancer encountered several Zigur patrols with characters with corruption talents. In Normal, Zigur patrols I encountered only ever generated characters with nonmagical classes and talents.
Is this a known issue? Not an issue at all? Am I wasting everyone's time here?

"Fight fire with fire". If they against magic - that doesnt mean they cannot use it (or use magic users in their patrols: if magic user or your character dies - thats 1 less magic user in Maj Eyal - win/win situation).

Its a bug. (I'm guessing its a pointer error)

Similarly, does it count as a bug if the Ziguranth patrols drop arcane-powered items (meaning they have those items equipped)?

Did you see them wearing the items or did they come from their backbag where the items are waiting to be destroyed?

A chest that is bottomless and turns items into a magical gold substance isn't magical enough for zigur to hate it?
