ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm encountering this weird graphical glitch lately, where red squares are displayed instead of some graphics/effects (see attachments).
I'm playing on Windows 7 x64, using version 1.1.3 on Steam. The same save file works fine on my macbook.
Is this related to my video card? I have an ATI HD 7850... I had to disable framebuffers because text was unreadable.
Enabling framebuffers makes the red go away, but you can still see the semi-transparent squares.

Now that you mention it, I haven't updated them in quite some time.
I currently have catalyst 13.1 installed, and I saw there's version 13.12 available

I will try updating the drivers later, as soon as I'm done working.

So, I've updated my drivers and the red is gone.
In fact, glitches now are black instead of red. ?

This is probably fixed in next release
