[1.1.3] automatically activate icon not always doing its job

When you right click on an icon, by example the Shield rune, you can set it to automatically enable when you see an enemy.
That's usefull, but annoyingly and more than half of the time it does not activate when the autoexplore stop because you just spotted an enemy, but it will automatically activate only the turn -after-.
That's a problem as if you do not notice that your shield is not automatically enabled despite it should, as you may want to use another spell, and in the same turn as you the enemy will use his spell too, damaging you before the shield finally activate.
The problem is a lot bigger when it is an enemy attack with some character/powers crippling ability when hit, leading you to just take damage after damage without being able to do anything as all your skills are greyed, something that wouldn't have happened if the skill had auto-activated when it should have
