[1.1.1] Steam ver. Santascape (3) teleporter inaccessible

The elf helper died but his sprite did not disappear so I can't leave. I can't kill him, I can't recall, and I have no way of moving him.
I killed the main boss and the two elves spawned. The one on the portal was immediately agro to me.
