[1.1.1] Steamtech UI goes 'invisible'

While fighting an invisible enemy, parts of my Steam purchase UI went 'invisible' with the blue outline effect.

Once the enemy died my UI went back to normal.

I also had this, but not with invisible. Instead the UI took appearance of the effect on thought-forms (I was a solipsist with active thought-form). Also, it wasn't steamtech but the normal one, but on the steam version.

I had a similar issue but using the regular ui on the non-steam version. Most of the interface, all the buttons, and much of the text went "invisible." Pop up windows (inventor, character sheet, etc.) would also be blue and transparent. Exiting the game fixed it.
