ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I got a strange bug. I climbed the stairs and when I wanted to go down, I got a copy of myself in the stairs position. I mean, I got two characters.

I can't do nothing right now, because I can move one of the characters, but the other one stays always there. I restarted the game, and still the bug persist

I did some screenshots.

1- I used the auto-explore function, and I got this message (left corner):


2- I can link myself as a creature:


3- In this one you can't see nothing new but I got the mouse on the "strange character" and the skill focus appears on myself.




Well, I'm a newbie player and I have not played so much time. I will restart the character and start new game^^.

You might try the Rod of Recall, but I can't remember if that worked when it happened to me or not. Also, if this helps solve this, it has existed since at least 1.0.5 and occurs in Escape from Reknor.

Got the same bug. [1.1.5] I was using the auto-explore to get to the exit faster and I found a copy of me blocking myself. Hurting the copy hurts me as well. Trying to target the copy using the mouse while having an spell active will target me (the copy that can move). Also Rod Of Recall wont work. I guess it's game over.
