Cannot manually cancel "Bunnyficated!"

I prefer to play as a Cornac, not a coney: To that end, I rightclick the "Bunnyficated!" buff to remove it, confirm, but nothing happens.
On the other hand, when the actual "proc" effect comes up, it cancels fine if I try.
