Resolution issues with Ubuntu 13.10

Hey there,

Having an issue after updating to Ubuntu 13.10 where the screen resolution of Linux versions 1.0.0, 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 (32 and 64-bit) is much larger than my computer's actual screen, so that I can only see the bottom of the game screen and cannot access the menu.

I tried to see if installing this via the Ubuntu App Store would change things, and ended up buying ToME to attempt this (I am already a donor and am happy to continue to contribute to development!)

Installing via the App Store fixed this issue, at the expense of being version 1.0.0.

I am wondering if it would it be possible to update the package in the App Store to the current release, as well as addressing the resolution issue in the Linux releases on the main site.

Really appreciate this wonderful game!

Thank you!

Hum very strange, you can't resize it in the video menu ?
The 100 version on the app store should be the same as the official 100, that's the thing ..

I cannot get to a point where I can see the menu - I can only see the very bottom of the menu when I bring it up, so I

At the main menu of the App Store package, it tells me I am running 1.0.0 - should I assume that this is actually 1.0.5? I did notice that the Reaver I just rolled started with two axes, which was not the case in 1.0.0

Hum edit the file /home/FOOBAR/.t-engine/4.0/settings/resolution.cfg and change the resolution there

This fixed it for me - thank you for your quick response!

Any comment on the App Store version being at 1.0.0? Would be great were that to update like the Windows client via patches and such.

Issue must either be in the mentioned Ubuntu version or the original poster's settings as I haven't experienced any of the same on 12.10 or whatever the latest LTS version is.
