ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Playing a Yeek Necromancer, just cleared the Trapped! quest by saving the merchant, and as soon as I got back to the world map, attempting to move gives the message "You are unable to move!". There's no weird debuffs left over from the dungeon that would keep me from moving, and time passes when I stand in place just fine, but I can't move off of the spot. Saving and reloading had no effect.

Check your Inventory screen. Maybe you overloaded yourself with loot?

Well, now I feel silly. That was it. I guess I moved too much out of the Transmogrification Chest as I left, and didn't notice my encumbrance.
