[1.0.5] Screen gone white

Halfway through Daikara my screen went white, like the contrast has massively increased. I can just about see the outline of everything but not enough to save the game and exit, change any video options or find the previous level. Help!
Edit: Found the temporal void exit, changing level didn't help. Eventually clicked in the right place to save and exit, was ok after reloading.
Edit2: Just happened again on Daikara 4

I just had this happen to meet as well in Daikara. It was the alternate Daikara, on level 3. I managed to exit the game and save by hitting escape and clicking around inside the box where I thought the buttons where. When I reloaded the problem was fixed. Then it happened again after a while on level 4 of Daikara. No where else so far.

Just for additional confirmation, I had the same problem, in the same place (levels 3/4 of the alternate daikara).

For anyone else running into this, once your screen turns white, you can hit ESC, Up Arrow, Enter, Enter to save and quit.
It's easier than hunting with the mouse for a menu item you can't see, and you don't lose any progress.
