Game just suddenly wont even open.

Launcher goes, patching functions, I've done fresh install, the whole nine yards. There wasnt an update, graphics drivers havent changed in a couple weeks, so wtf. The game just does nothing when I try and open it.

Hum can you try removing (or moving away) your c:/users/foobar/t-engine folder ?

Deleted everything, tried just putting it in a c: and this is what we get.

Huh. Curious side note - DCSS and DoomRL wont run either. Dont all three games use the same language or summat?

I've futzed with at least three different incarnations of Catalyst, and its gotten me nowhere.
System profile, just incase anything leaps out obviously?

Well. Paid for the steam version. This does not open, and now the log is entirely empty.
What the hell can crash this game that keeps it from logging?

I just did a clean windows install a couple weeks ago and forgot to turn realtime AV monitoring off, was using the latest Avast build and it didn't like ToME4 (would hang indefinitely after switching to fullscreen). It might have been Virtual Kiosk function of Comodo Firewall, I can't remember. I just blonded out and didn't turn all those extra features off after I installed.
Just a thought, dunno if it'll help.
