[1.0.4] Boss missing from mines !!!

The one you go to retrieve the items to take back to Tannen. Hence I am stuck in the West with no way of returning to complete the game
any ideas how to fix this?

Check the hidden room. Rarely, the boss spawns in there for some ungodly reason. (The hidden room is located about 5-6 tiles west of the portal, and about 20 tiles south. You'll need to dig. The whole hidden room is completely surrounded by doors, so you'll know when you've found it.)
Burning star helps. Vision too. Eyes of the earth. Telepathy orc (there's always some orcs in there too.)
All of those ought to help you find it.

No, he is not there either. I deleted the reknor.teaz file and redid the zone, but unfortunately no bosses this time either.
Looks like a major bug.

Just to make sure, are you sure you're in that part of the quest already? Sometimes when doing the familiar quests you tend to skip corners with them.
