ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I haven't seen normal old forest since the alt maps get updates, so probably the chance of alt old forest need a check

You must have angered the almighty RNG. To appease it you must sacrifice your firstborn child. RNG is unforgiving though, so one sacrifice will last only like a week or so, so you need to keep up with sacrifices in order to keep alt forest from appearing.

I remember back in the times of ToME 2 when I had accidentally turned on joke monsters and little blue RNG bugs kept reproducing in the dungeon. I had to hack my way through them to get to the next level. Still these days when playing ToME all the unique monsters keep doing me salmon colored sling bullets. No other type of rare drop have happened since that unlucky day 8 years ago.

Edit: While it might sound like a good idea to roll a Halfling Slinger character I fear it might further anger the RNG and from then on I bet Prox will start dropping me Helm of the Slow 100%.. heck, he might even make Sandworm lair an alt version for all my ghoul characters.
