[1.0.5c] Morrigor unusable.

Was overjoyed to find this on my reaver. Promptly put it onto start hunting down a good ability. But now, I have providence on it, and want to try for something different and more useful. I hit soul purge, and nothing happens. Just resets the cooldown. Trying again doesn't change anything.
Any known workaround? And please fix, this was almost a god-tier weapon and now it's only semi-good. (Providence isn't bad, but it's not summon minions/forgery of haze/cease to exist/etc.)

I unafraid from your explanation in-game that it only keeps the talents as long as it's equipped. Guess I got it wrong.

It's supposed to, but apparently that was changed because of
here:
Apparently that patch to fix the problem wasn't accepted... Hence my Broken Morrigor.
Even unequipping it myself doesn't fix it... so it's not just soul purge.

The patch in question does not appear to have been added, because DG is a bad person!

If Morrigor already exists, and has a talent on it, and I apply this fix, then load up my savegame, will it fix the existing copy of Morrigor, or is it just worthless for this character? (In other words, does it fix the existing copy, or only copies generated after this?)
