ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Upon reaching the abomination (backup guardian for deep bellow) for the first time, I was happy to see the conclusion of the story. However, upon examining my loot, I find that he dropped 5 items......

All tier 1.

Now, a bit of low grade loot would be within the realm of normal. But for all 5 pieces of loot to be tier 1, on a backup guardian, including the artifact (flamewrought), this pushes the bounds of coincidence. Upon discussing in chat, another person who recently fought it ALSO experiences a pile of exceedingly low grade loot, rather then level appropriate.

Is it possible that Abomination does not generate level appropriate loot, and is this intentional?

All backup guardians have this issue :/

Strange. I seem to acquire tier appropriate loot off the others. Been pulling tier 3/4 randarts, off most of them. And at least a few pieces of dwarf-steel/stralite. Have to pay closer attention, and see if I can replicate.
