for some reason every now and again when i activate my Thought-Forged Defender (due to death) it comes nude without wearing armor ... hence making it practially useless for defensive purposes since it loses a ton of armor and armor hardness

A true solipsist maintains complete purity of mind. Vulgar thoughts of carnal pleasures are a distraction from enlightenment: What need has a being of thought and will of such things?

Obviously, your solipsist failed in that regard, allowing crass sexual desires to enter his/her subconscious at the moment the thought-form was birthed, resulting in a bizarre hybrid entity that does not know whether it wants to initiate violence or copulation (the so-called "Chainmail Bikini" effect). This is not a bug, but rather a reminder that your solipsist's constant struggle against the base id cannot be truly won so long as the mind depends upon the physical body for survival.

Okay, fine, the game randomly generates equipment for each slot and rejects those that don't meet certain criteria, such as power source. Too many rejections, and the generator gives up and doesn't create anything.

+1. I vote for unintended feature that we choose to retain. Solipsist's need a nerf anyway, a minor chance of nude summons due to impure thoughts sounds good.

If solipsists need a nerf, then give some ideas on how to nerf them. This is not a nerf, this is a random choke of the generator thing that is just...random. If it happens outside combat, you can just resummon. If it happens in combat, it is more of an annoyance than an actual threat - the summon is still there to take the heat, it just won't last as long.

I was speaking facetiously. Solipsist's have been repeatedly been beat about the head with a nerfbat and I still hear people talk about them being overpowered. The occasionally weak summon would actually serve as a balance mechanism, but I really vote for keeping it for the wonderful fanlore that was created just a few posts back. That makes total complete perfect logical sense and would be a wonderful reason to not worry about fixing this particular flaw. Like Athamathon being struck by a meteor, it's almost too fun to fix. Just throw in some lore when it happens.
