[1.0.3] Effect duraction reduction not occuring at all !!!!

I had just beaten Urkis and was left with a hurricane with 9 turns to go. I have a phase door, which states it gives me negatvie status effect reduction of 20% and a randart belt, that gives 40%, a total of 60% reduction.

I hit phase door, and my cooldown is 8 - no difference, from either phase door or belt. This is a serious bug, as I got these specfically for this sort of situation. Thankfully I survived, but no more phase door runes for me till this is fixed.

Here is the belt:

   Type: armor / belt ; tier 3

When wielded/worn:
Defense: +8
Changes stats: +1 Wil
Critical mult.: +5.00%
Stealth bonus: +7
Spellpower on spell critical (stacks up to 3 times): +4
Mindpower: +13
Resist all after a teleport: +2%
Effect duration reduction after a teleport: +40%


I've tried it with and without the belt, and no reduction is occuring for hurricane, stun, slow, disease, poison, etc. I am nightmare adventure mode, playing dwarf solipsist.

It doesnt affect existing ones, it affects new ones

Oh, in that case, I think that should be made clear in the description, as I chose my gear specifically to try to get this to work. No wonder I've had no luck.

So I think we should change what it says.

It currently says "Effect duration reduction after a teleport: +X%"


It needs to state for new effects, and that it applies for five turns (at least, my belt does).

"New effect duration reduction for 5 turns after a teleport: +X%"

Wordy, but accurate!

Can anyone suggest something better?
