ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just tried submitting this and it didn't go through, so if it double posts i'm sorry in advance. Anyway the bug im experiencing deals with the giant sandworm burrower alternate for the sandworm lair. I followed the sandworm from start to finish twice and there doesn't seem to be a boss or any stairs down to the next level.

Also burrowers have been disappearing, I think they might be spawning with runes, which should not happen

i did manage to get the worm to continue on its way eventually. The stairs down was one room further then where it kept burrowing. On the third attempt it finally made it, but it still burrowed early the first 2

it disengaged from me after it was accidentally frozen while i hit an opponent with Prismatic Slash leaving me in a empty room with no exit other than RoR or manual digging with Tooth of the Mouth (all other diggers would be to slow as far as i can see)
