It's hard enough fighting one Master, but two? No idea how he cloned, but it happened when I died during precognition:

Wow! I just discovered the clone doesn't attack, but can be attacked. I wonder if I get exp for this clone?

Even more Wow! I killed the clone, which doesn't attack me, and I get the achievement of Vampire Crusher!!!!! Really wierd.

And then I turn the corner, and the real Master is still alive and kicking, trying to kill me. So I guess I 'll kill him twice.

Two deaths later (I'm on nightmare mode), I have killed the real Master, and I have two Staffs of Absorption to prove it!

Are you saying, that this is one such anomoly? I won't use precognition again round a boss in that case!

Chronomancy - including the Precognition talent - has been buggy ever since it was introduced. It's just a tongue-in-cheek way of saying that you should expect the occasional bugs when playing them Chronomancers. At least until someone finally* fixes it.

*before we discover it's still broken :p

I found a related bug. My skeleton temporal warden died during precog and really died. I asked to go back and I appear next to where I was when I cast precog. And a clone of me was still there! Looking at my log revealed that nothing was recorded before death. I was the clone.

I'm guessing reassemble bones 5/5 resurrect and the precog "resurrect" conflicted, resurrecting me twice.

Anyway the character is unplayable now. Any way to fix it?
