[1.0.1] Rares in towns...

...Not so much a bug, perhaps, as an unintended advantage? In the towns with bodies of water, any townsperson can be pushed in and left until he or she drowns. Nobody gets upset, nobody even appears to notice. While this isn't much of an issue with ordinary (green-lit) towsnpeople, the rares (blue-lit) grant experience and a randart (or gold or scroll, like any rare) if you push them in and wander off for a bit until they drown. It's not much in late-game, but nice for a starting character. Just wander around to each town and see if there's a pick-me-up right from the beginning. Perhaps the "no drown" flag (whatever its name is) should be activated for townspeople, especially the rares, to prevent abuse through no-risk murder of townspeople?

heh, I never knew this, so I tried it out in Last Hope with lvl 9 archmage. Just got me Snow Giant Wraps for free!!!!! Thanks for the tip.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what "tip" you're talking about. I have never, and will never, be an accessory to murder, even the murder of filthy arcane users.
