Escort + minion = death

i dont know if someone reported this bug, but when you cast a minion, and the escort guy is near you, the minion will summon over the escort guy and die. that happend to my alchemist today.

I'm not sure I understand, how does the escort dies ??

I read it as the minion dies, not the escort.
