ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So I decided to make a Rogue to unlock Marauder. I've struck two enemies with Venomous Poison while wielding a two handed weapon, dealing 677 damage the first time, and 1077 the second. In either case, the Marauder class didn't unlock. These attacks were single source attacks and was not the total damage. I'm also authenticated, being able to link items in chat (apparently this is a sign of that).

EDIT: For some reason I couldn't see the edit button. Ah well, anyways, here's some more information:

I've had some issues with lua errors when attacking some monsters, and earlier I also had some sort of "wrong version" error before I did this, and so I decided that this may have been a problem. The lua errors seemed to relate to some addons I got (new classes) so I removed them and made a new character, ensuring that I was online and that I was authenticated. I made the same sort of character, a Rogue with a build made to deal more than 600 damage in a single strike. Here is the character page in question:

You'll notice a few things:

1) He is, indeed, a Rogue.
2) In the log, you will see this:

Marauder Guy the 2nd uses Venomous Strike.
Venom drake hatchling hits Marauder Guy the 2nd for 3 acid damage.
Marauder Guy the 2nd hits venom drake hatchling for 722 nature damage.
Marauder Guy the 2nd killed venom drake hatchling!

So I definitely struck an enemy for more than 600 damage in a single strike as a Rogue, but then, if you check my profile you'll see Marauder isn't unlocked despite that.

You're playing on Easy. The Marauder unlock is tied to an achievement, and you can't get those in Easy. Similar issues apply to other achievement unlocks, like the Solipsist.

Ah, I didn't think that was the case since I had unlocked Skeleton by killing The Master on easy, so I didn't think any unlocks were tied to Achievements.
