[1.0] Stuck in temporal rift?

I got to the third level of the temporal rift, killed the dragon and picked up the gems he dropped, but I don't have a portal down to the next level. I'm a paradox mage but I didn't use any time-splitting powers on him. He did get hit by a meteor from the prodigy though, if that's relevant.
