ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The Inquisitor is in the "Enemies" faction. All the Rhaloren are in the "Rhaloren" faction. The two factions hate each other (hence why you often see the elves blasting away rodents and molds within their base). Thus, if you leave the Inquisitor and her underlings alone together, they will fight each other to the death. I've only ever noticed this when I've come back to the camp to dispatch the Inquisitor after allying with her lover, when the Rhaloren faction is friendly to you; this leads to the comical situation of the Inquisitor, having apparently missed the memo that you're on the same side now, viciously attacking you while her own underlings leap to your defense. Not particularly meaningful, since by that point you're strong enough to curbstomp the entire zone, but pretty amusing.

I imagine you could exploit this by Phase Dooring into her room before quickly teleporting away, forcing the Inquisitor to charge past her men to get to you. I'm not sure if that would actually be easier than taking her down fairly, but it probably shouldn't be happening at all.

Heh, maybe she should be a possible alternative love interest for those who fed Melinda to the demons
