Temporal clone oddities

Temporal clone has some strange effects if you're frozen or become frozen as you cast it. (hard to describe, easy to replicate)
Also, the spell seems to have a deceptively long range. And by deceptively long I mean it flat out lies. It *says* it has a range of six, but I've used it on enemies as far as 9 spaces away (it even shows red tiles as if I'm selecting something out of range, but when I click it goes on c/d and spawns a clone as advertised). I haven't extensively tested how far it can go though. It might even be infinite, but I have no idea really. (It really pains me to report this one--the extra range was really useful)
Not sure if the advertised range should be increased or the effective range decreased, though.
