Sound crash

Often-times my sound in-game crashes (only program that this happens in) and usually results in a high-pitched continuous buzz. Only way to get it to stop is to restart Windows. As it's shutting down for the restart the sound cuts and the shutdown freezes in its tracks forcing me to do a hard reset. Every single time.
Of note, sometimes I do not get the high-pitched buzz and instead their is no sound system-wide. Except for that it behaves in the same manner as far as restart goes.
Other than that I cannot use any add-ons due to major lag/crashes when I do use them.
Love this game and hope these issues get resolved.
