Reload doesn't activate when an escort is on screen, even when autocast is set to use it with no enemies present. Makes it easy to run our of ammo with escort, putting oneself in grave danger unexpectedly.

Maybe you should've made it clear you meant automatic reload, though I suppose it's only a minor thing to neglect that in the title.

But the problem occurs both with auto reload, and without. That is, the game auto reloads for you OR you can set it to reload, say when enemies are not present. The same problem occurs with either situation.
