ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey all,
I was fighting a purple ruined dungeon mini-boss, I think a Xorn? It was one of the monsters that can dig through walls in a single turn. I killed him after he had burrowed into another region of the map, and it didn't "click" the orb.

Was it named "XXX the Guardian"? If not, it was just a random Rare enemy, not one that can unlock an orb for you.

I can't remember its name. But I searched all over the level, popped out and in again, and could not find any more monsters. Even tried buffing invisibility detection some more. Soon afterwards, this character suffered a grisly end in Dreadfall.
