Getting the sealed scroll after Golbug's death

The character should get the scroll before entering the room with Golbug no? Otherwise, it makes absolutely no sense...

You mean the letter from Last Hope? The messenger's always spawned after Golbug's death. He even comments on the army of orcs you just slaughtered. Why would you get it before the fight? Besides, either way doesn't make any more or less sense: The Last Hope elders presumably wrote the letter while you were in Reknor; Harno just manages to catch up with you after Golbug's death.

Ah, that makes sense. The point of the message isn't to say "This Golbug fellow has the Staff; find him and kill him!"; it's to say "That Golbug fellow you just killed sent the Staff through the portal; go after it!".
