ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Not sure what is triggering it, but corruptor enemies in Dark Crypt seem to be able to cause an infinite loop of crashes. I was unable to get past the first floor because every time I engaged in combat with a caster the game crashed until I killed the task. I don't have a dump unfortunately, but corruptor.lua came up in there I think? I was playing a ghoul sun paladin.

edit: seems to be happening in adventurer groups, too. Dark portal is maybe the cause or related somehow?
