[b43] Meteor and escorts

So i was escorting an alchemist in Daikara and was just a few steps away from the portal.
Then a meteor fell more or less on top of it ^^
The portal was gone (i even tried to use the mouse tooltip to see if it was "hiding" under the lava).
The escort finally died on the lava and one ctrl + alt + del later the exact same happened.
I finally finished the quest by just letting him go alone, since it was my char who triggered the crash.
