ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi, I just started playing ToME. Haven't got far, but it seems like a great game.

There is a problem however - I can't see the mouse cursor (arrow) on the screen. I've tried enabling/disabling the cursor in video options, but it makes no difference. Can anyone help me fix this?

Os? Game version etc?

Do you have windows magnifier open? This happens when i leave it open before running the game, works fine when the magnifier is closed. Maybe this has something to do with external programs that modify the display universally?
