ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just found out that mindlashing with condiuted fire and physical aura at someone who is blocking sets off counterstrike at me.
Is this really intended? It makes no sense at all.

And secound.
Just tried mindlashing while wielding the sword of truth telekinetically.
I dont seem to get the Conduit damage at all.

You only get Conduit damage with Mindlash when telekinetically wielding a gem or mindstar.
