Grim resolve not suppressing ailments

If I understand properly what cursed/cursed-form/grim-resolve is supposed to do, it should have a given probability to suppress diseaeses and poisons. I have a cursed with 20% chance and I have experienced absolutely no suppression of any disease or poison. In 3 situations, I have even been diseased for 25 turns and the disease remained all the time. Bad luck, maybe, but the probability of such a behavior is extremely low (10^-8, I think).
So I assume that no resolution is done...
Maybe it is the best, as doomed are already insanely powerful, but at least the talent description should be fixed.

What is with the "insanely powerful" mantra that's getting passed around with Doomed, anyhow? It annoys me a little to start with, but when it's used to suggest nerfing shared skills... That's a really bad reason to defend an ability not working as it should, if it's not(haven't tested it/looked at the code).
It's like everyone saying it hasn't played Alchemist, Archmage or Corruptor. Or, for the physical end, Berserker(And, so I'm told and have no reason to doubt, Archer.). Or for some more moderately powerful comparable classes, Sun Paladin or Bulwark or Necromancer or Mindslayer.
It's the same thing that happened with Mindslayer-also another class that has as many clears this version as Doomed, incidentally, which in turn is well below or comparable to everything on that list I just gave for clear amounts.
(Except Archers, which weirdly have no clears this version. Odd. Then again, Cursed somehow have more clears than Doomed, so there is just randomization and varying interest in the class at work to some degree-but newly hyped classes tend to get more people playing them than usual, not less.)
It's like if someone calls something newly changed overly powerful, people parrot it.

Maybe you are right. I haven't play a cursed recently and they may need this feature.
Anyway I really think that doomed don't. I am not saying that they must be nerfed. It is just that disease/poison is not a real problem for them. Half damage is "deflected", feeding steals some blight/nature resistance from your foe and the remaining damage improves the doomed power. So resolving the ailment is not really required (and anyway does not work).

Deflection actually eats from a tank of very, very slowly stored defensive points(a fact that is surprisingly hard to find out, I admit).
So basically a good poison or blight will temporarily destroy its ability to mitigate damage.
