[b41] mac - mouse issues

Heya,
i'm having an issue with the b41 for mac in regards to the mouse movement. It works fine until i try to cast a spell that needs a target. If i do that then the mouse is more or less stuck, you can still move it with some effort but its rather annoying if you have to target an open space (i.e. aoe spells) instead of a monster. I'm currently running 10.8 on a mid 2010 imac with the wired apple mouse. I have the most recent xquartz installed as well.
I will check if the issue appears on any of the other macs as well and will update the post with my findings.

tried it on an older imac (late 2006) running 10.7.4 and 10.6.8 with the same result, mouse is very unresponsive as soon as you enter target mode. Also tried it with beta 40, same issue.

I'm casting a few spells first and the mouse barely moves, after the spells i just move the mouse and it works fine with the same amount of movement.
