The screen is to small for some talent category names (if you make a paradox mage for instance chronomancy/chronomancy bleeds way over, other longer talent names will have the same issue). Making the window 1/10th to 1/8th wider should fix this.

Also you can't expand categories you don't know anymore (or collapse ones you do know and don't want to look at for that matter).
