ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

My recent bulwark character got Repulse - and it doesn't seem to do anything when used, other than consuming stamina and going on cooldown.

Even with several enemies adjacent, there are no apparent effects or combat messages generated, no targeting cursor, nothing. It just quietly fires and fails.

And yes, I have a shield equipped. ;P

Hmm, it used to work... and monsters *can* resist its effects... but come to think of it, I haven't been very successful using it lately either!
